WORKING METHOD

1. Initial confidential consultation

The initial consultation is always without obligation and fully confidential.

This meeting can take place at a location of your choice. During this consultation we discuss your situation and the possible investigation in detail.

We attach great importance to a careful analysis of the case. Therefore, we take the time to listen attentively to the client and to understand the situation as completely as possible.

2. Analysis and investigation strategy

Based on the information received, we analyse the case and discuss a possible investigation strategy.

During this phase we discuss, among other things:

• the objective of the investigation

• the possible investigation methods

• the legal possibilities and limitations

• an indication of the expected costs

3. Investigation agreement

When it is decided to initiate the investigation, a written agreement is drawn up between the client and JOCO Investigations.

This agreement specifies, among other things:

• the identity of the client

• the objective of the investigation

• the legal basis and the legitimate interest

• the costs and fees

In addition, an investigation assignment document is prepared in which the assignment and the investigation questions are precisely described.

These documents are signed by both parties and constitute the legal basis of the investigation, in accordance with the Belgian Private Investigation Act of 18 May 2024.

4. Conduct of the investigation

During the investigation, the client is regularly informed about the progress.

If necessary, the assignment can be adjusted in consultation with the client.

Upon request, an interim report may also be prepared.

5. Investigation report

After completion of the assignment, a structured investigation report is prepared for the client.

This report includes:

• an overview of the investigative activities carried out

• the dates, locations and times of the observations

• a detailed calculation of the fees and expenses

The final report may also include evidence collected during the investigation, such as:

• investigator reports

• bailiff’s reports

• photographic and video material
